Ecological rucksack
for materials used
in everyday products

The report calculates estimates of Material Input (MI) for a range of materials used in everyday products, i.e. metals, wood, plastics, glass, ceramics and leathers. MI is the use of resources from the point of their extraction from nature: all data corresponds to the amount of moved tons in nature. All material consumption during manufacture is calculated back to resource consumption.

The report provides background data for the production of Danish educational materials.
