The
report calculates estimates of Material Input (MI) for a range
of materials used in everyday products, i.e. metals, wood, plastics,
glass, ceramics and leathers. MI is the use of resources from
the point of their extraction from nature: all data corresponds
to the amount of moved tons in nature. All material consumption
during manufacture is calculated back to resource consumption.
The
report provides background data for the production of Danish educational
materials.
