NOAH works with environmental policy

We work for all current and future generations to have equal access to the Earth's resources - without the environment being overloaded. We call it environmental justice. We work through environmental policy programs, which you can read much more about below. You are very welcome to contact us if you want to know more about our work.

Transportation

Safety and the environment are the most important factors regarding traffic and transport. Society should create a framework giving more incentives for people to use  their bikes or to walk, and also to use public transport such as trains and buses, instead of using cars and planes.

Food Sovereignty

Food sovereignty stands for local people's right to self-determination over their land and agricultural production and for everyone's right to healthy food, produced by ecological methods.

Forests and Biodiversity

The forest is among the most species-diverse habitats on Earth. In addition, it is the home of over a billion people whose livelihoods depend heavily on forest biodiversity.

Resources and Consumption

Products must be designed and manufactured so that they know the end of their life can be disassembled and enter into new products. The consumption must be converted, so we can live well within the planet's limits.

Climate Justice and Energy

NOAH is fighting against the inequalities raised from global warming. The effects of climate change are felt most acutely by the people who are the least responsible for causing the problems, and that must change, now.

Economic Justice

Everyone on Earth has the right to the same basic opportunities and living conditions. While the global economy grows, there will be less and less nature. And 4 out of 5 people on Earth live in extreme poverty.

Chemicals

Our brain is the body’s most complex organe, both in its structure and its function.  Damages to the brain through chemical impact from the environment are therefore often very serious. The effects can lead to parts of the brain being damaged, that become either to function poorly or to perish.
